Three Miners Vineyards is a family owned estate and produces high quality award-winning wine, accredited sustainable vineyard. The area is where gold was first discovered in NZ in 1860, hundreds of miners panned the gold-bearing sands bodering the Vineyard. 2011 is the fifth vintage of their Gewurztraminer. Made using wild yeasts and partially barrel-fermented, it is off-dry in style. Aromas of stone fruit and lychees on the nose, peach and spice on the palate with a mineral finish.
