What the winery says about  the Matua Valley Single Vineyard Awatere Sauvignon Blanc 2010. . . .

The wine is pale straw in colour with hues of bright green. The nose is overflowing with tropical pineapple notes and mineral driven nettle aromas. The palate is well structured with plently of regional typicity and textbook acidity to finish; and excellent example of a mineral driven Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
