What the winery says about the Kidnapper Cliffs  Pinotage 2010 . . .

Bright and lively, light ruby in colour. Aromatically voluminous springs to mind; there is a lot of pinotage character here. Violets and toffee apples, raspberry coulis and fruit cake spice are all evident on the nose along with an exotic tropical note. The palate is restrained and elegant, with a balance struck between the extravagant fruit and some more savoury, grilled meat and dried herb characters. Well structured, with layers of fruit tannins and a very long, almost firm finish.
