What the winery says about the Hans Herzog Montepulciano 2008 . . .

The Hans Herzog Montepulciano is produced from extremely low yields that results in amazingly high concentration levels. The 2008 vintage produced a full-bodied and deep dark cherry coloured Montepulciano bursting with power, concentration and texture.  A heady nose, displaying flavours of cranberry and dark ripe plums underpinned by liquorish and savoury overtones. This is a complex blend of intense ripe fruit enveloped by fine tannins. A voluptuous, smooth and delicate wine which will age gracefully over the next 15years.
