Delicate herbal characters marry with wild plum and subtle dark chocolate on a palate founded in firm structure. Blackberry briar and a savoury smokiness frame a lingering finish supported by velvety tannins. A classic Gibbston Pinot Noir.
Gourmet Traveller WINE, Feb/Mar 2012 - A fine-textured and rather herby wine with ripe cherry and hints of floral and spice. I like this fairly edgy style - very complex with surprising power. It has some of the character of young Burgundy. A good food wine. Good drinking now or in the next 7 years.
