On our website the shipping costs to most countries are shown as a single cost item however following changes by Australian Customs in July 2010, the costs to ship wine to Australia are now shown as two components: Shipping and Australian Wine Equalisation Tax.

SHIPPING COST

The shipping costs to Australia are extremely competitive.  The case sizes and prices are:

• 8 bottle cases     NZ$75
• 12 bottle cases   NZ$85                                     Note: All shipments to Tasmania incur a NZ$45 per case surcharge.
• 15 bottle cases   NZ$95

The FULLY INCLUSIVE shipping cost includes the courier transfer within New Zealand to our shipping company, all packaging, insurance, international air freight to Australia, import handling and Express Courier to your delivery address.

You can order multiple cases and as you shop on our website you can:

• view and select the most cost effective shipping option (typically in 15 bottle cases)
  
• see all the wine and shipping prices in approximate Australian Dollars if you select that as your currency

AUSTRALIAN WINE EQUALISATION TAX (WET)

This only applies to wine sales to Australia, therefore our website does not show the wine prices inclusive of WET.

WET of 29% on the discounted cost of the wine purchased is calculated and shown separately during the checkout process.  It DOES NOT apply to the shipping cost.   The WET component is clearly shown before you confirm any order. 

DELIVERY TIMES

Deliveries are sent by AIR FREIGHT to Australia every Thursday.  From the time of your order the total delivery time is 1 - 3 weeks (2-4 weeks to WA).

The delivery time from when you order depends upon the date of the next flight and the variables of Customs clearance and local courier delivery.
